Feed Your Soul, Not Your Ego

mindsetI often remind clients (as I remind myself), that we are spirit beings having a human experience. Not the other way around.  This is a stunning revelation to many.

Most people are conditioned to think of themselves as  human beings with our ego minds taking center stage in our lives. When you lift your perspective outside that boxed in ego viewpoint of yourself, you can begin to remember the truth. Who you are is so much more, even if you don’t understand, intrinsically you know your essence.  Your life takes on new meaning and purpose. Every experience becomes sacred.

If you find yourself getting caught up in day-to-day ego drama, frustration, resentment, gossip and angst, don’t fuel it. Stop and take a deep breath and remember the big picture truth instead. Feed your soul and remember the truth of who you are. Watch how small your ego dilemmas become.

I love what Colin Tipping, author of Radical Forgiveness, says;
life doesn’t happen to you, life happens for you. You are not a victim. You are a creative spirit that chose to be here now, in these circumstances, in order to learn the truth of your divinity through your experiences and your senses.

The purpose of life is growth and expansion. Your life experiences provide the lessons for self-discovery of the truth of who you are as a beautiful, powerful, loving being within. Remember you are an actor, not the director, in a grand drama of life. This will help you enjoy the performance greatly.

This Week’s LifeForce Secret:

The quality of your life is enriched by your willingness to allow every experience to unfold the divinity within you.

You are divine creation flowing through you and expressing as you.

Love and openly accept the part of you that creates experiences to discover more deeply who you really are. Your willingness will help you shift to a place of empowerment and appreciate whatever your life journey brings you.
